We may have to segue over to the Rifles sector of Uncle Davey's forum here, but being a die-hard rifleman (as are all Marines at heart) and loving the Mauser 98 BA and its great clones: Springfield 1903, Winchester M54 and the classic pre-1950 M70, Dakota, and now the Kilimanjaro series 100% made in Montana- what do you have in mind as to caliber, action, maker, sight groups, optics and mounts--I see a lot of good guns locally for sale in my neck of the woods, due to the crapped-out MI economy and now this year with the deer season coming up (firearm 15/Nov to 30/Nov)and the deer population way down due to summer drought and disease- a few good possible bargains around- FYI
