Perhaps if you had posted some photos of the markings on the bottom and top of those barrels the folks at lc smith.org could have provided some assistance; but, as posted, there was no way anyone could provide solid information. What is the serial number, as the orginal barrels may have been Damascus; then replaced at some point with a set of Armor steel barrels, which were less expensive than a set of standard Specialty Grade Nitro Steel barrels (and cheaper barrels out of grade was a choice many shooters opted for). The barrels may have been replaced aftermarket with a set of Field Grade barrels then engraved with the word "Specialty" atop the barrels; the bottom line is that we can speculate all day long, but short of actually seeing the gun at the very least we need some photos providing reasonable detail.
