Look for the Guilandi wads. They will do the job. Not sure of current cost - I'm still working my way through a 5K purchase some time ago.

I really liked the guilandi spreader wads (not the X insert) from BPI. Personally, I preferred them to the Polywad and the Spread R, but that does not seem to be a universal truth. Since I no longer shoot cartridge guns, I happen to have a hefty box of them (12 gauge), if any one is interested.

I have used those Polywad Umbrella disc/post inserts with good results in a tightly choked gun....but couldn't tell to what degree they were opened, but a descent bit...its been a while, but I think you had to reduce the pellet weight by an 1/8th oz???

Patterned one my 12 ga Elsies couple days ago. She is choked light full/full. At 20 yds. AA#8 shot 1 oz in the right barrel, light full, patterned 13" effective diameter. With the BPI Xtreme spreader insert out of a reload RGC, 1 oz #7 it went to 21" with no voids.

Idahobob, the PC Post is marketed by Downrange now. I used to use them and they were very easy to use as long as your reloader has a hole in the wad ram. I added a piece of fuel line to the post to make it a more agressive spreader and cut the shot capacity to 1 ounce. The PC Post is a 1 1/8 ounce wad that is a replacement for the WWAA. I don't have any right now and am thinking about seeing if Downrange will sell me a bag.

Eightbore, I have some from Downrange that I am about to try. I do not usually use 1 1/8 oz loads, so will try the filler. I think Douwnrange will send you 25 without charge if you email them.

Thanks for the information. Pick a fuel line that is a press fit on the post and cut it to length to cover the post. The thicker and longer you make it, the more spread you will get. Mine were the exact length of the post and brought the shot capacity to a comfortable one ounce.

Eightbore, Geiser Guns in Sunbury Pa is now a distributor for Downrange wads. I'm not sure if they have PC wads in stock. It's not to far from you.
