If you want a re-stocked gun, get a decent action for around £3000 and budget £3000 for re-stocking. If it needs new barels as well, add around £4500.

The Fox from CSMC will no doubt be a very nice gun.

For me personally, I would have taken the H&H in less than a second!

A Holland Royal is a Holland Royal. Any Fox is only a glorified Sterlingworth. This one has a few unusual features for a 30's gun. It does not have hand detachable locks!
All the best, Mal

The real decision would have been with an original high grade and high condition early days AH Fox. I don't think of Tony's Fox as being the real thing.
I'll stick-up for the Sterlingworth here and now!
It is a far more interesting and much more in demand gun than the 2.5K Brummies you see by the truck load.
Oh ya! it'd be the H&H for me.

I don't see this H gun on the guntrader link. How much is it including the restocking? If I had to negotiate the websites in the UK, I would choose Tony's gun any day. I can drive there and pick it up. And Tony speaks our language.

No, Tony's in the RBL doghouse!
...and it carries right over to the used gun dept - those guys have no social skills.

The H&H. You'll still be able to buy a CSM Fox in ten years.

The H&H will retain it's value, the CSM will go down the day you take delivery.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.

I'd take this nice Royal H&H, but for $25-26,000. Wood is just outstanding!
Who cares about Fox replica?
