The proper apparel for the hunter-- Die Frau/Fraulein has the action closed on her semi-autoloader (Breda) and both the gents also have their Bockflinten closed and muzzles upwards-- Nice clothing, very clean (net und saber, Ja?) and also the dogs seem to be free of mud and burdocks--sorta like a foto shoot from a European Cabelas catalog-- Love the two vintage Porsches- classics that can run flat-out on Das Autobahn forever-

This puts the cat amongst the pidgeons Huum- thanks for paying a sideways homage to one of my favorite character actors of another Hollywood era, the late Walter Pidgeon--don't know if he was big on cats, as was the late Ernest Hemingway--nice posting, Mate!

Joe:
Is he still making them? If so, would you send me his contact information?
Thanks.
And does anyone know of another source for this kind of sling?
Thanks.

Run With The Fox It actually is from a photo shoot for Waffen Frankonia (note the "Der Ratgeber Fuer Den Jaeger"- the hunters adviser.) Mike

But as for those two in the background - that would get you disinvited pronto and forever at every hunt and club I have been to. Muzzles down could lead to a missing foot, so muzzles up and behind the shoulder is the only safe way, from my conservative perspective.
Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

Here is a pic of the Galazan version: Looks pretty well made from the pic but I have not picked one up. My dad gave me an old but good 'un that he used to use lug his Model 12 out to the goose pit.
