The Williams&Powell business was established in 1834.At this date they aquired the business of Ann Patrick one of a very few female English gunmakers.
In 1834 the business was at 10 Pool Lane ,Liverpool.
by 1835 the number was changed to 12.
In 1837 amove was made to 13 South Castle Street,The Business was continued at #25 South Casle Street from 1839-1895.
Then yet another # change to #27 through 1905.Lapogus has already advised the more recent history.
Ann Patrick was making pistols of this type as early as 1830
I would estimate the date of manufacture as circa 1840.If engraved with makers address this would be the most acurate dating method.
Perhaps the best guide as to value is to view the results of the W.Keith Neal collection,which was sold at auction in London several years ago.
