Mr. Bill Hanus passed from our presence this past week. He was found at home on the floor and life saving measures were not successful. His wife notified me this evening of his passing. He will have a small memorial service in Newport, OR this next week.
We knew him as a champion of the samller shotgun gauges. His career included journalistic success, marketing prowess, and integrity of service to his clientele. There was much more to Bill than met the eye. He was a joy to talk to and his knowledge of the gun industry was enclyclopedic. He will be missed.
I have had the pleasure of working with Bill for the past eight years on a professional/personal level. His friendship and counsel will be sorely missed. His current sales orders will be shipped.
