I visited H&H in London some 20 years ago in sort of the same vein as Rob, just stumbled in and started drueling all over myself. I told them I was not a hot prospect for a gun by any means but they also treated me royally. Same at Purdy as I recall. What a country!

Yes, I'll get right on that screw (when I can get to the right person who wont bugger it). But it is kind of like the mole on Cindy Crawfords's face. Actually there are a couple of screws that could use a little attention. But for 100 years of use... I can only assume that is has been apart a few times for a good strip and clean. Every thing is nice and tight though. no proud metal, the wood to metal fit is what you would expect of an H&H.
Thanks for letting me brag on the gun.

Congratulations on such a fine purchase wallis! I intend to find me a H&H AFTER my farm is paid off, someday. It's nice to hear that they treat anyone who comes in with the best of attention, even if they are not intending to make a purchase or place an order.

What a handsome gun! On those days off from the field, just taking it down from it's keep and handling, will be wonderful thing indeed.

Beautiful H&H! The engraving is of course...first rate and well executed. Matches the gun and compliments her lines well!
Homelessjoe, You are the most annoying guy on this whole board. Seldom with a worthwhile contribution, but always quick to offer negative comments. Whats with you???

Wally, what has gotten into you? It is missing that "distinctive" hinge pin that we have come to expect from you!!
Very nice indeed!

Hey Dustin I don't think Wally took it too bad. On a gun that nice I'm sure he had intentions to fix it before I said anything. Go Screw yourself Dustin.
