No moose for the .404. Saw 11 moose only 1 bull at about 500 yds to far and long gone by the time I got within 200 yds of where he was, 18 caribou, (the season lasted only 1 day for this area and it was before I arrived), 2 wolves, (got in a hurry and missed at 200yds), 1 grizzly, (already have 3), and 2 black bears, (have enough). All in a 7 day float hunt that I do every year with just a partner.

I'm sure an opportunity will arise eventually for the 404!

I think the fall float trip hunts I did while in AK, is what I miss most. Beautiful, wild country with a variety of waterfowl and other birds migrating south. I can still envision each one in my minds eye.
