The RBL Light 12 arrived today. I ordered it on June 14. It got lost in preparation for a show for about a week; otherwise it would have arrived just about two months after placing the order. On my postal scale, it weighs 6lb, 11 oz rather than Galazan's 6 lb 7 oz. My scales agree with the local post office and I had guessed the weight at 6-12 before I put it on a scale. I'm not disappointed in the weight. The gun balances about an inch ahead of the hinge pin, just about the center of the gun. The dynamic balance, or moment of interia, is about right with most of the gun's weight between the hands. Overall the wood has better figure than I had expected as I would have thought plain wood would be lighter. The grain is completely filled, and the wood finish is perfect as far as I can see. I like the french gray (coin finish) receiver as my guns quickly look like that anyway with carrying. The only complaint I have so far is that the straight grip stock is a little fat through the wrist, as I have small hands. I'll have to shoot the gun tomorrow to see if it shoots where it looks. Here is one shot of the gun and a link to an album of photos:
