That's beautiful. To me, that level of patina is perfect. Really dark, almost black wood (in some lights) and most of the blue worn back to silver highlights. Gorgeous.

I'm surprised Jeffery only put two extra leaves on the sight - very conservative.

Also, that empty screw bolster on the foreend tip - I assume it goes to a stud beneath the barrel? Don't think I've seen that before on this genre of rifle. Or is it perhaps an alternate sling attachment point?
