I've taken an interest in Hussey shotguns. Does anyone out there have one? If you do, I'd love to see it.
Does anyone know if there are serial #, manufactured dates our their for guns marked H.J. Hussey, Ltd?
I know there's a guy writing a book about Hussey shotguns = there was something about it an recent issue of SSM. I tried to find the article, but I didn't have any luck. Does any know how I can get in touch with the guy writing the book?
Thanks
OWD

Xchisles-
Thanks, I appreciate it. I looked up his info online and send Coggie an email.
What's you opinion of the Husseys you've seen (talking guns here, of course)?
How do they when compared to the top English names?
Thanks again.

Gregg, They are the TOP of the English line, along with all the other Named Makers of the Victorian/Edward 7th. period. Browns London Gunmakers, really does a very good job of telling the storys of that era. There used to be Intense Rivalry amongst the Gunmakers,In my 12yrs in the London Trade we had a lot of Pride in our part of building the Guns & Rifles. We,had many a "Scuffle" between Apprentice's over who's work was the Better!!Doubt if any of that stuff go's on now All too 'PC'...dt.
