If there had been more and better pictures the rifle would not have set there without a bid.

Another bad ad, I mean it was advertized as a "53", poor description and pictures with a high reserve.

It was pointed out to me by a friend, I missed the ad completely.

Another orphan that will soon receive a birth certificate.

PS: There is a small side bet as to if it will show up marked "R.G. Owen" on the barrel.

I've gotten a couple emails regarding comments or lack of comments on items at auction posted here so I have this to say.

If the auction is OVER I will try to do my best to answer questions.

If the auction is UPCOMING or IN PROGRESS the advantage (if any) goes to the people who have gotten a hold of me. It's OK to call, email or PM and I will try to answer any questions I can. However I will not publicly comment on it.

Yesterday, I petitioned Gunbroker.com to add a category for "Custom Rifles". Then, maybe, we will have a better chance to find auctions such as this one.
