The trueguns site is certainly PROUD of their stuff! Not too long ago I sold an almost identical 1893 Marlin in 30-30 for $1250, had bought it at a local show for $650. Same tang sight, same excellent condition, same same except for caliber, 1896 production date with factory letter. IMO, judging by the price differential of the Marlins and my admittedly vague and amateurish opinion of the rest of their prices, I don't choose to deal with them.
Nice stuff though, too bad I just can't afford it!
