Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried such sights on competition guns, and see no benefit to them at all. They are not a deterrent to me, but I'm pretty set in my ways and don't look at the muzzle anyway.

Jackson, at 10 years old, is pretty impressionable though. My concern was that at his young age he might be distracted by it and look at it.
