The Raybar sights are not particularly bright anyway. I'd let your grandson decide if it bothers him; he looks to be capable enough from the pics you have shared w/us. I'd bet if it has feathers on it that's where he will be looking. Good on ya for keeping him in the fold. That's fine choice of ordinance too. Best regards, tw
