I have hydraulic dent raiser in 12, 16 and 20 ga like Brownells sell. If you want to borrow one let me know. I have lent them to others before so they could deal with dents. If used properly you can remove any dent and have almost no trace of the repair. Used poorly and I suspect you could regret not reading the instructions or asking for directions. I had a Crescent barrel with a dozen dents in it to learn on.

If you have a metal lathe you can make a set of plugs to do the job. They work quite well if you can make them in several sizes.

Thanks for the tips and offer! I do have a lathe so I can cut the radius on that and I also have a polishing lathe (double ended motor with buffs) so no problem. I do have a 12 gauge hydraulic dent raiser and that does work great.

KY Jon, I use those trio of dent raisers, too. I have had ten gauge guns that sometimes needed dent attention, but the 12 ga. would not work. I cut a sleeve off of a fired 16 ga RST, cut a notch in the sleeve for the anvil to go through and slipped the sleeve on the 12 ga dent remover. After oiling the outside of the sleeve, the altered 12 ga dent remover worked well in my tens.

This is a typical plug I've used. I just sand the nose radius with a belt sander and polish it with a hard Scotchbrite wheel.
