The gun's general configuration is somewhat the same. Differences are: My gun has a solid rib and the checkering on the Super Trap behind the action on each side (cheek-pieces) is not present. The two screws or fixtures that secure the auto ejectors are identical but my gun does not have a beavertail fore-end. The uniqueness of my gun is the 2 7/8 inch chambers which makes me think it was designed much like old Parker guns in that regard. Now, back to the 4 digit serial number of 5109E....when was this gun manufactured and was it a Trap gun before the Super Trap series????? Info please.
