Jeffery sidelock Brazier locks question

I just picked up a Jeffery sidelock shotgun. When I took the locks off and looked at them closely, I see "Joseph Brazier Ashle" stamped or engraved on the inside of the lock plate. I have heard of Joseph Brazier, but what does "Ashle" refer to?

They are what I believe to be back action locks with 3 separate springs - main spring, sear spring and interceptor spring.

The Ashes Works was his 2nd or 3rd location and was sourced for upper rung locks.

It will say "Joseph Brazier", Ashes. Ashes is the name of the factory.
