MIchael,
I've been jealous of your shooting rig and target results all week, sure wish we could go to the range together and you could coach me on proper external adjustment procedure. It feel like a complete idiot when I get near to point of aim adjust the scope, then the next group is off the paper and I have NO IDEA where it went!
I figured the front base needed shimming, but the first trip to the range I never hit paper. I just ordered a 5/16" front base to go with the 3/16" rear base (Steve Earl) Is that totally out of the norm??? Can you see how much I had to shim it?

That rubber eye cup puts the scope at the Perfect eye relief. It also block out sidelight and rests easy against the glasses. Got it from Parsons.
