Eightbore, a friend of mine, and myself went to visit Mr. Ken and Miss Julie about 3 weeks or so ago for final discussions of the artwork to use in engraving an SX-1 of mine. The day was fascinating, Ken is a pleasure to both work with and as a new friend, and Julie is a delight.
One of the many things that we discussed was my desire for scroll work that was highly interleaved and complex and avoided concentric circles of tendrils. I'm glad to see more examples of Ken's scroll and I am reassured (although I really had no doubts) about his style of scroll.
Someone on this site mentioned that Ken doesn't know beans about BBQ...I don't know about that, although I believe I will find out sometime this summer, but as Eightbore mentioned, we all now know quite a bit about eating really terrific fried chicken and black eye peas.
