One of the better full vests I own was a Cabelas "Dog Handler " vest from about 7 yrs ago.
I bought one of those in about that same time frame. Empty, it weighed about twice what my previous Cabela's vest weighed, and that was before it was soaked with sweat. After I weighed it, I sent it back. I called Cabela's corporate office to see who made the previous vest that I liked so much and they wouldn't/couldn't tell me anything. That's when I ordered the Pella and Columbia vests, but I don't wear them much because they are just too hot for the desert. Dove season is almost here.
