I know this post is getting a little old, but need to jump in here and request (beg is more like it) some information on my Tryon's Damascus. I am trying to date the gun and the serial number (all the parts are stamped, not the wood) is 45637. The barrels are Damascus (obviously) and quite nice (or will be when I finish refinishing). Just wondering if one of you more knowledgeable chaps could help me date it using the serial number.

Used too much when new.
