I've always been more of an O/U fan but after increasing exposure to English doubles I'm really starting to get interested in them. Problem is I know nothing about them at all.
My question is what are some of the better-made English doubles for not a lot of money (specifically in the $1500-1800 range).
I've seen quite a few guns in this range on various dealer sites, but the brand names mean absolutely nothing to me.
I realize that for this price I'm getting a pretty spartan gun, but that's OK, I just want to dip my toes, don't want to nosedive just yet.
Any suggestions for a good cheap, light, well-balanced English double?
