At the 1881 Forestry Exhibition in Hannover from July 16th to July 24th, Heinrich Schepring displayed his wares in the Hunting Weapons and related manufacturing along with the likes of Hofbchsenmacher G.L.(Georg Ludwig) Rasch of Braunschweig, a Bchsenmacher Bruns also of Braunschweig, B. Ebbecke of Herzberg, whose shop I would guess H. Scherping passed thru early on, and some Kief fella of Peine. For his wears H. Scherping took home the gold medal at this event.
Doug Mann kindly provided me with the following images of a H. Scherping hammergun that is temporarily in his possession. I would say that it dates to about the time of the 1881 Hannover Forestry Exhibition.

Nitro Reproof at the Zella-Mehlis facility in November 1911. Alteration may have centered around choke?

Birmingham sourced tubes or tubeset with a mechanic with initials that look to be WB. I wonder it they were sourced from Westley Richards?
