Hello all,
I'll shortly be putting an old 10 bore back into occasional service; am I right in thinking that a 13/16" wad punch (.812") would be best for wads in a nominal .775 bore? I find that 3/4" works a treat in the nominal .729" 12 bore (with actual bore diameters +/- as much as .015"ish, so .020"-.040"ish seems a good differential).
I've also got a 28 bore, and have found a nominal 9/16 / 14mm just a tad too small for the bore; I wonder if going up to 15mm would be too big; how much bigger can I go without getting to big (and too tight) for the bore?
