OUTSTANDING!!! That is the first picture that I have seen of Heinrich Scherping even though I have studied the man, his guns & his business for over 20 years! This picture would have been 6 years prior to his death at 83 years old in 1913. Where did that come from? You have outdone yourself again, the dates fit what we have already been able to put together. With a statement such as the one supplied with the photo, where can we find more information on the Man & his business. Hope the knowledgebase here will add any info they can so as we can better understand the trade at that period from studying one of its top Craftsman & Businessman. This helps establish the business that bore his name for 80 years, now if we can find more information explaining his association with L Eckebrecht in the years prior to his entitlement, we know the boys Johann & Heinrich Eckebrecht continued the business to as late as 1937 following his death.
