The other scope is Mr. Niedner's scope that he made while in Malden, MA. A. O. Niedner, O. E. Gerrish and F. H. Souther took up the making of scopes and once they were working Souther took over making them by himself. You can see all three men in the picture below.

The mounts are modified Winchester for the Mann-Niedner taper blocks.
