Bill, that is a beautiful gun you have there. I have owned several Model 12's including a 28 bore at one time. Hate to put it this way, but sorta 'outgrew' them. I used to hunt with a 20 gauge.....quail killing machine, just like the Browning A-5. I can't shuck the things very well anymore with a bad shoulder and sold all of them except for a .410, Modell 42 prewar skeet with a solid rib, English stock.....really neat little gun. I prefer doubles now since I don't need 5 shots (A-5) or 6 with the Model 12. One thing about the Model 12, you can just hold your finger on the trigger and keep pumping and empty out 6 birds in no time. Now though, I'm a conservationist and limit myself to two shots. Model 12's and 42's and A-5's are excellent guns IMHO though!!
