So I guess Tony Galazan's Fox .22 rifles are a frivolous use of our hard earned dollars? I was hoping to get one of those for Father's Day.

Gulp. That is an amazing testiment to the gunmaker's art, to be sure. Forgive my ignorance, but what is a 9mm shotgun? Are they actual 9mm handgun cartridges loaded with shot? I've seen them for sale various places but wasn't sure what I'm looking at.

I suppose rappers would like Fabrege' eggs too but that doesn't hurt their beauty in the eye of this beholder. Best, Mike

I too have found some interesting old things in abandoned farm houses in Saskatchewan. In fact my hunting partners and I have an unofficial competition each year to see who finds the most interesting relic. I hope you folks do realize that just because no-one is currently dwelling in a house, the house & everything in it still is owned by some one. That is a big problem in my area, folks seem to think because no-one is living in a house that everything inside is free for the picking. What it actually is is ""STEALING"". Ask me how I know. Whther the owners house is setting next door or hundreds of miles away is immaterial, its still someone elses property unless you have actual permission to take it.

With all repect to Miller and Chuck both on this one, I think the members of this forum are old enough and gentlemen enough to distinguish for themselves truly abandoned property from anything that the "picking" of which might come even close to constituting "STEALING". I can assure you that my carpenter bee badminton rackett was clearly within the abandoned category and I have no doubt that whatever canvasback was referring to would be the same.
Jumping to conclusions with respect to the judging of others actions usually leads to problems. For the record, I also pick up life preservers, cooler tops, and bungee cords I see on the side of the road; judge accordingly...Geo

I just passed a great looking bungee cord yesterday without stopping. I am running real short and don't have any idea what they cost at the store, have never bought one.

Wasn't "Bo Whoop" found along the side of the road?
