Thank God you had ear plugs and glasses on him or the "saftey brigade" would have been on you like they were on poor Greg and WBurns.  Great pics. I enjoyed them.

Great post with great pictures. Super! Give your son my congratulations. I know just how proud you feel. I raised a son just like that, and am now working with my 10 yr. old grandson.

He wears his plugs and glasses all the time when he is shooting or throwing targets on the skeet field at our gun club. Something I have learned the hard way. Between shooting hundreds of thousands of rounds between recreational shooting, training and in combat I have ended up with pretty bad hearing loss. I took him to the E.A.R.S. Inc. booth at the Southern and had some quality plugs made for him and he wears a pair of my Oakley shooting glasses that have ballistic protection.

This came in the mail for young William today. He ended up winning the Griffin & Howe Junior Championship Trophy Plate as well this weekend! It looks great next to his L.C. Smith vs. Parker Challenge High Junior Cup!
