I wonder about relative pressures between U.S. and European .410 ammo. A friend of mine has a Remingtom 1100 in .410. It will work with American 3" and 2 1/2" Winchester and Remington ammunition becuse it is designed for it as regards pressure to work the action. Now this same gun will most certainly not cycle British 2 1/2" stuff and will not cycle British Eley and Lyalvale Express 3" stuff either except for the odd round; about 2 in 10. It seems that British 3" .410 ammo may generate less pressure than Winchester and Remingtom 2 1/2" stuff. As a consequence I will only use American made .410 stuff in my AyA Number 4 and stick to European ammo in my English .410's. Lagopus.....
