Another little known bit of Browning trivia is that in the 1979 or 1980 Catalog, Browning introduced a Leather, hard, breakdown shotgun case. The Brass locks are marked FN and there is a oval plaque on the back that States Browning, made in Poland. It will hold up to a 30" barrel and works for either an O/U or SxS.
Jimmy Carter threatened to embargo items made in Poland in the last months of this term and the cases were discontinued and never made again.
