Chuck, how does your Parker compare to your Ithaca small gauges weight wise and handling?

Treb,
The CSM/Repro setup is about 8-9 oz heavier than either the original Ithaca NID or the Beschi NID repro. The CSM/Repro setup handles very well on the range. Shooting it is in no way hampered by the extra weight, probably quite the opposite. I do need to bend the stock down to get a lower drop. But that was true when the gun was just a 28ga. I have that other forende iron for the gun and I plan to fit it up and make a small BTFE.

Chuck,
Maybe the sheriff can put us all up at the jail?

It'd be nice if we could find a place that could lodge all of us in one place with restaurants and bar so I can get Mike drunk and pry his shooting secrets out of him.

Chuck,I would think the weight forward will make for a fine shooting gun. Congratulations. Who would you use for stock bending? I would like to get a little more drop in my 28 gauge Repro also.

Chuck,
I'll try to get you drunk next time I see you. I dunno about prying anything out of you.

Dave,
I'm going to bend the stock myself. I started building a bending fixure and need to finish it. A friend showed me how to bend a stock and I think I'm ready to do one. But I'm sure you can find qualified gunsmiths in your area.

Thanks Chuck, I spoke with my gunsmith Abe Chaber here in CT and he won't do it.

Possibly Mike Orlen in Mass? I think he helped some members here with their bending fixtures by providing his design info.
