Yes, it changes the balance completely. The extra material is distributed from the breach to approx the half length of the barrels. I'll try to measure the diameters at different distances from the breach to give an idea of that.

But yes, it feels like a different gun altogether. Not a bad thing. A 28ga Repro, even in 28" barrels is a low MOI gun (that's for Don) or a bit quicker/lighter than most can shoot well, myself included. I'll make some comparisons with a 20 ga BSS or two that I have in a couple configs. Feel is similar.

no stampings on the outside of the barrels or ribs. Just a marking of .410 and 3" on the watertable. Last I heard, CSM still offered the barrels, but a hugely increased price of $4000.
