I do not know if you aready know about this software. It simulates patterns with different chokes/pellet size/velocity/charge weight/ etc.
It is free to download.

Thanks Jose, I didn't get a chance to download it yet but saved it. Might be good for a comparison to loads that were tried.

If you have any extra time, I'd recommend Dr. Andrew Jones's Shotgun Insights pattern analysis program. It automates the statistical analysis of real live patterns. It is very useful for comparisons of shotgun/load characteristics. It requires that you feed digital photos of patterns into the program. The output is real data as opposed to "I think ---," or "It looks to me like ---." If you haven't done so already, have a look at Neil Winston's test of one famous choke tube company's new product.
