I have just got back from Tony's Service.
It really was a celebration of his life, he was a great man.
It was a measure of Tony's caring and thinking that months before he died he wrote a poem thanking everyone near and dear to him for just coming into his life which was read for the first time today.
He even had the goodness of heart to thank all his many friends that he made through Double Gunshop.
Marie carried on this theme by asking me to give special thanks to special people, All of YOU. She smiled in appreciation of the fine words that have been sent and asked me to send her love to KY Jon & LGF.
The Flowers from Doug & Vic were wonderful, marvellous, beautiful.
Finally there can be no better tribute to a Great man who only took up Gunsmithing two years ago than to see representatives from Birmingham Proof House and Craftsmen from The Birmingham Gun Quarter at his service. Ladies & Gentlemen, Thank you all so very much.
As engraver Phil Duffill and our own David Trevallion said, 'He's one of us'

Tony, you may be gone in the flesh but your spirit will forever live on, and every day I shoot you will be with me. Love till the next time. Pete, ( Salopian)
