The Damascus pattern I think I've seen before and recall it as being a "higher-quality" one, but I'm no expert on that.

The rust on the barrels - inside and out?

Might be a good idea to get tubes b/c if the bores have been treated as well as the rest of it, chances are honing them will leave not a lot.
