A government-management-labor TEAM is a powerful tool. But, it is a team only as long as nobody gets greedy. The off-shore guys (OSG) have computers in their plants. That means internet access. That means they know what we get paid. They want "prosperity" in 5 - 10 years, not 2 - 3 generations as in times past. OSG will not remain low cost labor long. However, the new plant is there and they have the upside on the learning curve for new jobs. We are on the downside for old jobs. We were very fast in moving old plants/building new ones and we will have learned even more about plant moves in 5 more years. Transportation costs are going up. Off-shore manufacture depends on transportation of goods.

Yep, the next 10 years is going to be very interesting for macro-economics.
