Kawaguchisan (the Japanese member of our club) is going to the Hamada shop to try and get the history of the gun, but I will not see him for a while. Plus he speaks no English and my Japanese is very poor, so we use another Japanese member to interpret, but he knows nothing about guns! So, it's sort of humorous at times. There were some posts earlier on this forum that got me interested in this gun - one or two other Hamadas were pictured, so I tracked down where this gun was and was able to purchase it. I'm hoping for a few folks who are more knowlegeable on Japanese Doubles so that I can learn - I've not found any books, so it's just been via online that I learn - and what I get from Kawaguchisan
