Will be thankful for any advice about good books about shotguns (technics). The “Shotgun technicana” is already available. I’m interesting in something more fundamental.

Can you be more descriptive about what information you are looking for? I'm not sure what you mean by "more fundamental." Do you mean more "basic"? Are you looking for generic info on all shotguns or information specific to doubleguns? And are you looking for info regarding the hardware itself? exterior ballistics? maybe? You mentioned "Shotgun Technicana", an excellent book, did it not provide the info you are looking for?

Let us know a little more about the type of information you are looking for and I think you'll get a better response.

"The Double Shotgun " by Don Zutz is a pretty good introductory text.

If you are looking for things of a technical nature, one of the best shotgun books ever written is Burrard's "The modern Shotgun" & it's still a lot more "Modern" than many would have us believe.

Volume 1 of Burrard's book was the one that came to my mind also 2-piper. I wasn't sure if that was what he was looking for.
