I have a fondness for Midland Gun Co. stuff as they made a wide range of guns from basic to best quality. I have a couple of 'Sudden Deaths', one 12 and one 16, a Dreadnought 20 in mint condition, a Demon 12 bore, a 'Knockabout' 16 bore and a best boxlock 12 with the 3" chamber option and single trigger. I did have a Rabbit 12 bore but parted with it when I should have kept it and always regret parting with a Demon 20 with damascus barrels. Such things happen when another gun comes up and the gun fund is a bit low. You will also find a host of their guns bearing other 'Makers' names. Lagopus.....
