Anyone purchase one of these soft LOM cases sold by Lewis Drake? Good, bad indifferent?  Gun not included, sadly.

It seems that it's only available in canvas in the shorter (30.5") length. ...and for the same $395 as the longer leather version. Whatsup with that?

The website did not have the correct info. I just received this case and it is very nice - nicely compact and light, but with good fleece padding to protect the gun. This was my first dealing with Lewis Drake - Anne was a pleasure to work with and even threw in a cleaning rod and pouch for free (I couldn't convince her to throw the gun in the above pic to the deal, unfortunately).

I personally would not spend that much for what is essentially a soft case. I do like and use hard LOM's with a soft lining.

This case is pretty well padded - I think it would take something fairly catastrophic to damage a gun inside. It is also more compact than most LOM cases I have seen if size is a consideration.
They do sell a LOM case that is more of a hard shell if that is your preference.

I got one from Drakes a few years ago,it was the soft Water Buff' hide one,after I bought mine for around $160..?, the price took a big jump
Its pretty classy for a soft case...nice thick leather n straps.
I've kept mine nice n greasy, so it looks pretty much new.
