I am still a newbie to this forum and I have a question that I didn't find an answer to in the FAQ.

What do the gold stars on my profile when I post mean?

Welcome to this great site.

Everyone gets them, but see how long you can keep them. Members can give you a star if you post something that is very informative or if they like the answer you give, or whatever.

It means your a "rock star"! Just kidding, it is good to see you over here.

Members, SBHVA knows his Swedish guns and is a great source of information.

Take care,

The stars are meant to be a rating system of sorts. You have 5 stars because you haven't been here long enough to get anyone's shorts in a wad; be certain, you will. If you click on your profile and pass the curser over your stars, you can see how many people have rated you. If you have one rating for 5 stars that is what will show in your posts until someone else rates you 1 star, then you'll get the average of your total rates.

The real answer to your question is that the stars don't mean nuthin'. Welcome to the Doublegun board, love my Huskies, a 51 and a 310...Geo

Roger, no stars just means/meant that nobody has disagreed with your knowledgeable posts and that there is a measure of respect for the ones you've made. Now you've made an issue of it you'll get lots of rates...Geo

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.

I thought it might be some kind of rating system, but didn't know what I had done to get 5 of them when some very esteemed members don't have as many.

Geo.Newbern; it's always nice to make contact with a fellow Husqvarna shotgun owner.

If anyone has any questions on Husqvarna firearms, I would be glad to help.

Welcome to this site.

I have a question
Where are parts available?
I have a 12 gauge under lever, hammer Husky and the action
screw between the hammers was broken when I got the gun.
I made a new one, but would like to have an original.

Thanks
Mike

Spare parts are hard to come by. You can try kebcollc.com or you can try seller LBE on gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=279079648

A third option is to come to this forum and post a wanted thread http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdisplay.php?50-Swedish-Civilian-amp-Sporting-Firearms
