OP Richard Saloom Sidelock Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 303 Likes: 1	It seems that during a move, one of my claw mounted scopes along with other things have vanished. I am wanting to get a replacement that is esthetically correct for a 1930's German drilling. Does any gunsmith currently use the older sweating/soldering methods of attaching mounts to a steel bodied scope? I have tried the usual suggestions of NECG, jj Perodeau and a few others with no success. I am not interested in a modern ring style mount.
