While I was in the vault and in the gun safe I dug out my drilling to measure the scope bases. Here's a little more info I either forgot or didn't know. The reciver is marked on the bottom, in script "Dural" and "Hubertus" "Suhl"
The barrels are marked with "Inman Meffert" on the right barrel between the bases and about half way up the barrels on the rib are marked "Rudolf Gronau, Braunschweig". On the side of the barrels at both breeches are the words "FLUSSTAHL KRUPP ESSEN" encircling what appears to be crossed cannon barrels. Obviously Fluid Steel, by Krupp but the Essen I'm ignorant of.
