Yes, that is correct David.....

I have rebuilt some early 20 ga Smiths, circa 1907-09 guns that were actually early 'test beds' for the FW guns that came along later....

I had that information in my post above initially, but did not want to confuse the 'nit pickers'.......

Also, as you mentioned, Hunter did not just throw away all their forgings and parts after 1913....they completed what 'stock in hand' they had and kept on truckin'.....
