His reasoning was to prevent excess oil from flowing into the stock and damaging the wood. My practical approach here was to just use less oil. Jim The 2nd Amendment IS an unalienable right.

I have concerns on occasion of the barrel ends sitting on the safe's liner material being hygroscopic, but so far, so good. The relative humidity is about 50% in the safe.
