I second your nomination Shotgunjones. We talked about exchange before it went through. The people at simpson are very nice to deal with.I was and am prepared to deal with the item but the ribs are out of my league to fix. It would be too expensive to have someone else do them. This project had the potential to run way over budget and that's just what the rib problem did. For that amount of money I could have a nice merkel. I was looking for a project. I hated like hell to send this one back.I have wood,time,a shop and oh...... I'm married.
It's not like they took a torch to it to add some case colors, like one seller did quite frequently.That is unforgivable. No I will not throw him under the bus either. That has already been done by others. Thanks to all that replied on this one.
