The solid rib gun is an original 28" full choke but measures .018 and patterns beautifully.
The Poly Choke gun in the picture is just under 25" but originally had a vented poly and was exactly 26".
My other gun with a solid rib had a Poly but doesn't currently and is 23 1/2". I think I'm going to have it choke tubed like Ted did although I'm not sure. The whole gun was cold blued (not as bad many cold blue'd jobs but...)so I've also thought of rust blueing it and using it as a second barrel for the other solid rib gun. That would make a nice dove/grouse gun.
I missed out on a 30" gun a while back that would be nice to have. I think it was cyl though which seemed odd. I'd really like to find a tournament grade or higher with a 30" solid rib!
There is a 26" barrel on e-bay but it's pretty rough. It's marked MOD. I may try to buy it anyway.
